R4R Vision CPS has announced George Stanley will be lining up in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship this season on the MV Agusta F3 675, and will be working alongside the Bike Devil Racing team.
The Bike Devil team will assist with the built and preparation of the bike during the season, with Stanley making a return to the grid ahead of the opening round of the Championship at Silverstone this Easter (April 10/11/12).
Stanley said: “I’m really pleased to be joining the R4R Vision CPS squad. After a visit to the team’s workshop, talking to Elliott at Vision CPS and Dave Tyson it was clear they wanted to be pushing for the championship and that’s what we go racing for.
“I wasn’t sure if I would be racing this year so I was excited when this opportunity arose. I just want to say thanks to all involved – Gino, Elliott and Dave as well as my own sponsors and especially my Dad as without him I wouldn’t be able to take part in this amazing sport.”
Team Manager Gino Rea commented: “We are really excited to have signed George for our 2020 Superstock 600 campaign. It has been a hard decision choosing the right person for this exciting project so we can’t wait to get started. Having previous years’ knowledge of the MV Agusta from the Bike Devil team I race for in the Superbike class is key, and means we can get the ball rolling straight away.
“I’ve been on the podium in the World Championship on the MV so I know just how good it can be and we’re confident it’s a winning package. George is a talented rider who works hard and he’s shown in previous seasons that he can win and score podiums in the Superstock 600 class. Our plan now is to keep the momentum going and take MV’s first Superstock 600 title in the UK.”
